Even though those DSM's are a bit unreliable as far as trans' go and all, I'd take the GSX over an auto z28. Just make sure it's in sound condition, do your maintenece on it, and it should be fine. I just wouldn't go insane with it, or it'll probably break.

I guess it depends on what youre using the cars for and the condition and mileage of both cars. The auto z-28 should push out consistant high 13s or low 14s in the 1/4 mile, I dunno how fast the GSX is, probably not as fast as the camaro, but with more boost those eclipses can be pretty nasty. The GSX should get way better gas mileage and gas prices suck right now; plus its all wheel drive will be nice in the winter months. From what I hear though, the eclipses arent all that reliable. Ask Dsmman about them and what he thinks about the trade. I dont know though, I would probably take the the faster newer camaro over the eclipse if I didnt have to drive too much. :p

well lets see.i just bought a 96 tsi fwd $500 needs bottom end i totaled my last 96 tsi so im pulling the powertrain out to swap.i have a great complete 6 bolt at the shop.and this awd should be nice.its a very clean car i just cant post the pics from my email or i would.yeah the camaro ran 13.9 1/4 @102mph but it drinks gas like its water.hopefully everything turns out good and thanks for everyones input. later, jason
